A moment that changed me – the man who forgot we’d had sex
'The thing that usually changes a person is another person. And when you allow yourself to be changed by another person, it’s because that person is flexible enough to be changed by you too. This is how good relationships work – mutual impact. Let enough of this into your day and then hopefully life is one big exciting adventure of discovery.'
Grayson Perry came to the Turner Contemporary in Margate yesterday (16 June 2015) . I was lucky enough to get a ticket to his talk about his work and the retrospective exhibition that is showing at the gallery until Sept. He was funny, informative, his observations rang true about life, technology and branding, and made his talk made his art accessible to all whilst also referencing high art. Really impressed and inspired. I love the all embracing quality of his work and that it tackles difficult subject matter.
I feel quite privilege to have been there last night.
